Connie Renner: Pastel and Portrait Painter

Connie Renner has been working in pastels and oils for over twenty years. She began and maintains her artistic career as a commissioned portrait painter serving clientele such as the Elway and Kubiak families.

Recently, Ms. Renner’s successful painting of "Sargent's Madame X" was exhibited in the Pastel Invitational at Abend Gallery Fine Art. Renner portrayed the scene of museum patrons at the Metropolitan Museum of Art viewing the famous painting of "Madame X".  Patrons have been so moved by the painting that she has produced a commissioned series of the painting.
