Carolyn Miller: Plein Air Painter

Carolyn Miller finds beauty and expression in painting ordinary daily life, capturing light and its effects on objects, people and places. Carolyn travels and paints on location.  She says when painting in foreign and domestic locations she is sensitive to the cultural differences of the people and is inspired to capture on canvas everyday lives.

Carolyn education includes a BA, Stephen F. Austin University, Texas and a MFA, University of Northern Colorado.  She was a member of the Art Faculty at East High School, Denver, Colorado and at the University of Northern Colorado.  She has been a featured artist in Southwest Art Magazine and The Artist’s Magazine.
